How NoelHatch was created
1. It all started with my mother's monologue

My mother, who always loved gardening, told my father, " Make a Winnie the Pooh stump ." And so my father made the red stump shown in the image above.
According to my father, he made it without any idea about color combinations or appropriate sizes, but from my perspective, it was strangely understandable that he could create something from nothing .
2. My father's inspiration got me started

After my mother suggested it, my father became obsessed with stump making, and our house was filled with prototypes.
After that, he had an idea that if he turned the stump upside down, it would become a pot , so he changed his direction and made flower pots.
As they continued to make it, the concept and purpose became more solidified.
3. A ray of hope for me, a person with a disability
The draft of Noel Hatch was created in 2014, the year my father was awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal.
However, I was so busy trying to make a living that I didn't have the right knowledge, and I was faced with the dilemma of being unable to take action even if I wanted to.
Coincidentally, this was the year I was diagnosed with a developmental disorder (ADHD: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, ASD: Autism Spectrum Disorder) (I was 17 years old and a second-year high school student at the time).
Support for people with disabilities is now becoming more established, but back then the concept was not even widespread.
Even now, more than 10 years later, I vividly remember that at the age of 17, I decided that if I couldn't get out into society, then I would try to achieve results on a winding and unstable path .
Then, after graduating from university, the coronavirus pandemic hit.
These past few years have meant a lot to me.
This is because I clearly saw my path as an entrepreneur and manager, and decided that I would never work in a corporate environment .
If my parents can't do it, then I have to do it .
Without the Yellow Ribbon Medal, I would have had no choice but to work as a disabled person until retirement.
I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to my parents for paving the way for me.
NoelHatch is my way of giving back to my parents. I will definitely spread the word about it all over the world.
