The beginning of NoelHatch

nice to meet you!

My name is Saki Takeuchi, representative of NoelHatch .

We truly appreciate you visiting our store.

To help you get to know Noel Hatch better, we would like to give a brief introduction about ourselves, which also includes our brand.

NoelHatch was started in 2018 when my father was awarded the Yellow Ribbon Medal. My mother casually commented on it.

My mother, who loves gardening, asked my father, " Can you make a tree stump like the one in Winnie the Pooh? "

At the time, my father had no idea about mixing cement or combining colors, so he just casually made a bright orange volcano-like stump without any concrete image in mind.

That is the origin of NoelHatch .

Then my father had an idea: " If we turn the stump upside down, it can make a pot ," and he started making a flower pot.

After much trial and error, our garden was soon filled with my father's flowerpots. When a relative saw them, he exclaimed, " This could sell! " So my parents were in high spirits, and prepared business cards and a free paper, and were ready to start their business.

However, my parents had almost no knowledge of retail sales, and at the time I was a student with a developmental disorder.

Because I had no knowledge or experience, I was unable to take the first step.

Things began to take a sudden turn when I left my part-time job as a disabled person after about a year.

Suddenly, my father forcefully told me, " Sell the flower pots! "

Perhaps because we have similar personalities and facial features, I was deeply touched by that one word from my normally taciturn father. His subsequent actions were incredible.

An unknown world awaited me, including social media communications, consignment sales, pricing and marketing, but I didn't feel any sense of difficulty or hardship at all ; instead, I spent each day feeling nothing but excitement.

Soon after the online store was launched, there were responses from HP production companies, web advertising, and overseas ( USA, Indonesia, Taiwan ) . The chemical reaction between plastering craftsmanship and flowerpots, and above all, my father's career caught my eye. Although the sales pitch was always " the possibilities are endless " and " it will sell even if it's more expensive ," I was convinced.

It would be a shame to leave those children alone in Japan .

With this in mind, we decided to open our store on Shopify, which is perfect for cross-border business.

My dream is to fill gardens all over the world with NoelHatch pots and create a Made in Japan sensation.

Why not start creating a new garden with our beautiful pots?

Until the end Thank you for reading!
